Hur stort är inte det??

Jag undrar om vi svenskar fattar hur stora ABBA är i den stora världen. Precis som jag undrar om New Jersey-bon förstår hur stor Springsteen är i världen. Som sagt ABBA the Gold ligger just nu etta på albumlistan i England. Ett svenskt band ligger etta i popmusikens förlovade land. Etta i landet som gav världen Beatles och Rolling stones. Det gör man tjugofem år efter det att ABBA splittrades, ja det är stort, fantastiskt stort!

Lilla Sverige har skapat två kulturfenomen, det första är ABBA och det andra Ingemar Bergman. Det är frågan om inte ABBA idag är större i världen än Ingemar Bergman.

Häromsistens såg jag filmen Mamma mia. Det var lite surrealistiskt att se den vackra grekiska ö-världen, några av världens största filmstjärnor sjunga ABBA-låtar i en av världens mest populära musikaler.
Jag blev glad av den filmen.
